This report contains the findings and recommendations of the Special Rapporteur on her mission to Jamaica. She expresses concerns regarding various issues, such as:
- the increased rate of crime, the country being exposed to both the drug and the arms trade and often serves as a transit point for illegal shipment of these items
- the corruption of the police and the involvement of some police officers in criminal activities such as bribery, drug smuggling and extortion
