This report contains the findings and recommendations of the Special Rapporteur on her mission to Turkey. While she mentions that violence is on the decrease and the number of incidents of extrajudicial killings has fallen, these killings are still practiced by security forces.
More, due to the lawless situation in prisons, with weapons and drugs circulating inside the prisons, prisoners had to be transferred to new F-type prisons, during the transfer operation 30 inmates and two gendarmes being killed.
