The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2012 after its consideration of the periodic reports of the Syrian Arab Republic. It expresses concerns regarding the limited knowledge among adolescents about the health consequences of tobacco, alcohol and drugs consumption, recommending the State to prevent drug abuse among them (paragraphs 65 &66).
