The Committee welcomes the submission of the combined second and third periodic reports of the State party and the written replies to the list of issues (CRC/C/MNE/Q/2-3/Add.1 and Corr.1), which allowed for a better understanding of the situation of children’s rights in the State party. The Committee expresses appreciation for the constructive dialogue held with the high-level and multisectoral delegation of the State party
In paragraph 45(c)the Committee raises its concerns about the lack of support services to prevent and respond to alcohol and drug use among children which often leads to poor mental health.
In paragraph 46(c), the Committee recommends that the State party strengthens measures to address alcohol and drug use by children and adolescents, including through awareness- raising programmes, the enforcement of regulations on alcohol sales, and prevention and rehabilitation programmes.
