The Commission granted precautionary measures on behalf of 3 individuals in Chile seeking access to essential medicines for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. The Commission requested the State to provide at once, access to anti-retroviral medication and medical check-ups to monitor their health. One month later, the State reported all three applicants were currently receiving the needed medical treatment and care and requested additional time to submit further information.
