UN Human Rights Committee: Concluding Observations on Thailand (2005)

In the Concluding Observations on the initial report on Thailand the Committee expressed its grave concern about death penalty applicable to drug trafficking. Moreover, the Committee was concerned about serious human rights violations, including widespread instances of extrajudicial killings and ill-treatment during the “war on drugs” campaign, particularly against national minorities in the State.
