The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2007, after considering Latvia’s initial report on implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. In paragraph 32, the Committee notes with regret that the report did not provide sufficient information on Latvia’s progress in ensuring that schools are free from drugs, alcohol, and aggression.
