Report of the Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, Anand Grover (2011)

This report focuses on the right to health and development, of which access to essential medicines is 'a core aspect'. It notes CESCR's determination that provision of essential drugs is among states' minimum core obligations of the right to health. It also notes that individuals are increasingly bringing right to health cases before national courts, with particular success in cases regarding access to essential medicines.
