UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, Concluding Observations on Madagascar (2012)

Date: 08 March 2012

The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2012 after its consideration of the periodic reports of Madagascar. It notes the lack of data on children living with HIV and on alcohol and drug consumption by children. It also expresses concerns about the increase in the use of drugs, recommending the State to address these high-risk behaviours in adolescents (paragraphs 19, 51 and 52).
