Cuscul Pivaral v. Guatemala, IACHR (2005)

Forty-nine individuals living with HIV/AIDS filed a petition against Guatemala for their failure to provide access to anti-retroviral treatment. The Commission held that the claims related to right to life and to effective judicial protection were admissible before the Commission.
