UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights: Concluding Observations on Azerbaijan (2004)

The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2004. The Committee expresses concern, in paragraph 32, at the growth in the preparation, storage, and sale of narcotic drugs in Azerbaijan. In paragraph 58, the Committee urges Azerbaijan to ‘take effective measures’ to decrease the availability of drugs, including by ‘combating the root causes.’
