UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights: Concluding Observations on Bolivia (2001)

The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2001, after reviewing Bolivia’s initial report on implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. In paragraph 265, the Committee notes that efforts to replace cocaine production with legal crops has led to the impoverishment of small farmers.
