UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights: Concluding Observations on Monaco (2006)

Date: 13 June 2006

The Committee issued these concluding observations in 2006, after reviewing the initial report of Monaco on implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. In paragraph 13, the Committee notes with concern health problems affecting young people, in particular those resulting from drug use. In paragraph 21, the Committee recommends that Monaco ‘step up its efforts to combat and prevent drug addiction, particularly among young people’, including by adopting legislation.
